If you love adding cold foam to your coffee, this fresh Strawberry Cold Foam is a fun twist that’s surprisingly easy to make. Made with real strawberries, milk, and heavy cream, it has a light, creamy texture with a fresh berry flavor that pairs perfectly with iced coffee, cold brew, or chocolatey mochas.
All you need is a jar with a lid and a few minutes of shaking to create a café-style topping at home.
Equipment Needed
Measuring spoons
Jar or container with a tight-fitting lid or you can use an immersion blender if you have one
Fine mesh strainer
Ceramic Grater Plate, this is handy if you would rather not mash the strawberries
Ingredients
Milk
Heavy cream
Fresh strawberries
Directions
Mash the strawberries thoroughly in a small bowl until you have about a tablespoon of juice.
Pour the mashed strawberries through a fine mesh strainer into a small mason jar, shaker, or small container. Press with the back of a spoon to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the pulp.
Add the milk and heavy cream to the strawberry juice.
Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 2-4 minutes, or until the mixture becomes thick and frothy.
Pour over your favorite iced coffee, cold brew, or mocha and serve immediately.
